Fall is just kicking in so come back for more updates after deer and elk season are done. No luck in Idaho on my big bull trip but saw some beautiful country including 4 bobcats (mother and 3 kittens) one day.
My friend Denny Snyder talked me into going spotlighting this winter & spring in hopes of getting a bobcat. We went out a couple nights and on one night this dog ran across in the truck headlights on the side of the hill. Having an idea of a ravine on the other side of the hill we boogied around the corner and he stopped on a far hillside around 100 yards away. With Denny lighting him up I put the end to his fawn-killing days. Nice big female 'yote, should be a few less around next year and a deer or two more.
